Sometimes you need information that is not found in the reports provided by Blackboard. While accessing the database may seem a bit daunting at first, you’ll soon find it a powerful and useful tool. To allow Managed Hosting clients access to the database, Blackboard provides Advanced System Reporting (ASR) which allows you to access a partial copy of your database. This session will demonstrate free tools for accessing ASR and go over what you’ll need to use it. Next, it will demonstrate how to use it to check student activities in a course, determine which users haven’t logged in, create a list of courses to delete and get a list of unused or unavailable courses. You’ll also learn where to go to find resources on building queries of your own.
